SAHAYA STUDENT ORGANIZATION AT UCD

If your answers are YES, don't look any further: we are the club for you!

Since 2008, there is a Sahaya International student organization at the University of California, Davis (UCD). We are a fun group of friends who share the passion to make a difference. The students organize regular events on the UCD campus and in the Davis area.

Examples of this are:

• The sale of embroidered greeting cards and bracelets at the UCD annual Picnic Day and Whole Earth Festival.
• The annual Hope Walks Davis event.
• Movie nights

Update April 26, 2010: our founder, Koen Van Rompay and the Sahaya student club were selected from hundreds of applicants as one of the six "Outstanding Community Service Award" recipients by UCD for the work that Sahaya has been doing (in other words, all of us!). This is the highest award that UCD gives to students, faculty and student organizations that do community service. Every member of the Sahaya club should feel very proud of this big honor bestowed upon us.
