What is SEE TRUST? |

- SEE TRUST was started by in 2007 by 3 sisters: Sr. Daisy (Managing Director), Sr. Vincent Mary (Treasurer) and Sr. Jesu Mary (Sister Sahayam; a multi-skill instructor and board member of SEE-TRUST).
- SEE Trust is a registered, non-governmental organization committed to the welfare of downtrodden and marginalized women in Cuddalore, India.
- SEE Trust works to improve the socio-economic level of these women by organizing self-help groups among Dalits, backward communities, the fishing community and other groups living below the poverty line.
- We offer evening tuition centers and livelihood measures for target communities, and women empowerment programs. Currently, SEE is a presence on three blocks in the Cuddalore District.
- SEE Trust conducts its several welfare initiatives in partnerships with government agencies, private institutions and like-minded groups.
Our plans for 2009:
- We will form special groups like the widows' self-help group, the destitute women's self help group, and the HIV/AIDS women groups.
- We will celebrate Women's Day, World AIDS Day and Children's Day.
- We will promote the idea of small savings among women and children
- We will help educate economically weak groups of children.
- We will form another special coaching center.
- We will conduct a summer holiday program for children.
- We will begin preparations to start a primary school in a remote village where there is a great need.
- We will continue to make greeting cards for sale in foreign countries. We will continue to give various training sessions to our women's self-help groups through Municipality and Mathi support.
Our future plan for children activities 2011-2012:
- Strengthening the new NCP (Neighborhood Children Parliament) and VTF (Village Task Force) members.
- Forming new NCP and Support groups.
- Providing them Leadership, Capacity Building and Cultural Training
- Keeping Talents Exhibition in District level NCP.
- Stopping Drop out children and child labors.
- Helping for the orphan and semi-orphan children for their education.
- Covering one block namely Pantruty
- Conducting the district level convention.
- Celebrating the Children's Day on Nov. 14-2011.
Our future plan for women activities 2011-2012:
- To identify new members only the widows, destitute, Positive women and the physically Challenged as well as the unmarried women.
- All the members will be promoted to be an Entrepreneur.
- To take the Women issues and to find solution.
- Covering Five panchayats newly.
- Making all the women to be self sustainable in their life.
- Celebrating Women’s Day on March 8th 2011.
- Giving various trainings like leadership, different skill training capacity building training and family counseling.
- Making them to be empowered in socio,economic and cultural level in the society.
